Why does my bank give me a different rate?
Banks, card issuers, and currency exchange counters add their own margin on top of the reference rate shown here, often 1 to 4 percent. That's how they make money on the conversion, so expect your real transaction to differ slightly.
What's the best way to avoid bad exchange rates while traveling?
